Winners! Best SIPs Home 2023 - Build It Awards

We're honoured to have been named winners of the 'Best SIPs Home' at the prestigious Build It Awards 2023. It's hard to believe that just three years ago we started building in SIPs, and this was our first entry. We owe this win to our likeminded clients and partners, including Norrsken Glazing, Carpentree, and Raise Architects, who helped us achieve this award. We're also grateful to our entire team at Ecologic for their commitment to crafting quality, inspiring sustainability, and showing great care for our clients' needs. The judges were blown away by our passion for the environment, innovation, and dedication to producing a design-led eco structure using timber and low-impact methods. This award gives us the motivation to continue to strive for excellence in what we do and to move more home builders away from using masonry and towards more modern methods of construction (MMC) like SIPs. We look forward to entering another project next year, so watch this space.

Our clients are equally excited about the win.

‘We have been delighted with our SIPs build. It has provided us with a great value home that was constructed incredibly quickly, is brilliant to live in, is low carbon and super-energy efficient, and also with looks that wow all our friends! We, and our Architect Andy Foster from Raise, have found Ecologic to be a pleasure to work with, right from the start of our Self-Build journey’, John & Suzanne.

This was a very interesting and enjoyable read that provided both clarity and inspiration. The way the author presented the Schon Reflective Model in a simple and structured manner made it easy to follow. Reflection is an important part of learning, and this post highlighted that very well. As a student, I sometimes struggle with reflective writing, but content like this makes the Schon Reflective Model easier to understand and apply. It’s great to see such practical explanations of important academic concepts.

This was a very engaging and insightful post that really captured my interest. I liked how the author explained simple ideas with clarity and turned them into meaningful insights. It shows how reflection plays an important role in both personal and academic development. As a student studying management, I often read blogs like this to stay motivated and gain new perspectives. During busy academic periods, many learners also look for help with management assignments to better understand difficult concepts. Posts like this provide both inspiration and practical value for students trying to balance their studies effectively.
