This review comes embarrassingly late (just two years after the build!), but this means that I can say that as well as being really happy with both the product and the support that I received, I'm able to say that the building performs really well too. I built a boiler/utility room (myself!) in my garden and Pete and the whole team were brilliant from start to finish - very patient and very helpful to a novice like me. I got loads of help with the design and then advice on the build after the panels had arrived. I don't hesitate to recommend Ecologic to anyone. Thanks guys.

We recently took receipt of a SIP garden office kit. Really fantastic experience from initial enquiry to final delivery. Very well organised, can-do outfit that took time to work through some design details - delivering a scheme that was exactly what we wanted. Completed to time and with good communication throughout, and to the pre-agreed budget - other than a few additions that arose during the construction and therefore not budgeted for originally. There were a few minor points I fed-back for continual improvement, which the company took on board and listened to. At the end of the day, definitely not the cheapest option, but I do believe you get what you pay for and I was very pleased with our choice. Whole heartedly recommend Ecologic to anyone- and we will return for subsequent orders!

We moved into our Ecologic SIPs house last summer and have been very pleased with its energy efficiency. We have now been through a winter and have been delighted with how warm the house has been with very little heating. We only put the heating on overnight when we have a cheaper electric rate and the house holds enough heat during the day and into the evening to keep the ambient temperature around 21/22 degrees. We have never needed to have the heating on upstairs and we only heat the rooms overnight that have dropped below 20 degrees. Whilst the house has become quite warm in the summer it has not been an issue. Overall it has been a very comfortable house to live in and Ecologic have been very helpful in answering any questions we have had. Great choice working with Ecologic, as a company we have worked with many prefabricated/ timber frame systems. Having seen a few SIPS structures being constructed over the last few years thought would be great system for my own property. We commissioned a bespoke Summerhouse with Ecologic approx 5 years ago, which we've been delighted with. At the beginning of June we noticed a dip in the floor in the entrance by the bi-fold doors. Ecologic visited and found that a portion of the wooden board under the vinyl flooring had rotted. On inspection it was concluded that a very small section of damp proof insulation hadn't been cut back during construction and this was allowing small amounts of rain water to be carried inside. Without any quibble the damp proof issue was rectified, the affected area of wooden flooring was replaced, and new click vinyl flooring was laid across the whole Summerhouse due to the existing vinyl tile flooring no longer being available. How a company reacts to something going wrong is a true measure of a business and Ecologic stepped up to the plate with superb after care service. Thank you. Pete & Mand

Ecologic has been great to deal with from start to finish with us on our 4 bed 370sqm SIPs new build house. Lots of work with us and our architect to take his design forward with SIPs as the build system – great work by Rich and Sarah. And Arthur helped out and liaised with our builder who was new to SIPs. George’s team installing on-site were also first-rate – even in 40 degrees of heat! 17 days of construction from slab to structure complete – awesome. Thanks, Pete and your team.

Ecologic have been amazing right from the start of our project through to the end. The whole team have been responsive and professional with every query, concern or conundrum we had to work through. The construction went up perfectly. Even our new neighbours complimented them on being such nice people on site!

First time I’ve used SIP panels for a project. I wanted supply only rather than having them cut ready for installation. Found dealing with this company was easy. They were very helpful in giving me advice. I picked up the panels myself rather than had them delivered as I live fairly close by. I was given a tour of the factory and the staff seemed proud of the product. As I cut the panels to size myself there was obviously some off cuts left over. I was able to take these back for recycling which is far better than throwing them into landfill. I would certainly have no issues using this company again. I’m sure this method of construction will become more popular in the future due to the thermal values you are able to achieve, together with the speed of build. I think in hindsight I would get the panels cut by the company as carrying this out on site does take a while. As a relatively small company with what at the moment (in the UK at least) is a fairly niche product, I wish them all the best in the future. They are providing a product that can reduce heating costs within a building together with speed of construction which can only be a good thing.

I can’t thank Ecologic enough for their patience and professionalism. A difficult project and they stood by me every step of the way. A really first class outfit.
