First SIPs Experience

As a Holiday Park with a very short closed season we primarily opted for SIPs as a quick solution to providing staff accommodation. The time frame involved, along with our inexperience in this type of building lead us to choosing a local supplier in the hope that if (or more likely when) problems arose help would at least be close to hand. As it turned out the excellent pre build support from the design phase through to on time delivery and comprehensive instructions meant that our fears were unfounded and the whole project was completed on schedule, in no small part as a result of the quality of the product and the knowledgeable and helpful team that support it. First time user of SIP’s

First time I’ve used SIP panels for a project. I wanted supply only rather than having them cut ready for installation. Found dealing with this company was easy. They were very helpful in giving me advice. I picked up the panels myself rather than had them delivered as I live fairly close by. I was given a tour of the factory and the staff seemed proud of the product. As I cut the panels to size myself there was obviously some off cuts left over. I was able to take these back for recycling which is far better than throwing them into landfill. I would certainly have no issues using this company again. I’m sure this method of construction will become more popular in the future due to the thermal values you are able to achieve, together with the speed of build. I think in hindsight I would get the panels cut by the company as carrying this out on site does take a while. As a relatively small company with what at the moment (in the UK at least) is a fairly niche product, I wish them all the best in the future. They are providing a product that can reduce heating costs within a building together with speed of construction which can only be a good thing.
